Solagile is a small consultancy firm and was founded in September 2007 by Wilco Boumans. Solagile specialises in Internet and content management architecture for medium to large enterprises. Although the company started in 2007, with more than 15 years of experience in Internet technology and software architecture & design, Solagile delivers quality!

As a senior ATG specialist, Solagile is participating in the realization of the new web platform. Bol.com is the biggest Dutch online retailer, with a catalog of over 1,5 million products online. They sell for more than 100 M Euro yearly.

The activities we delivered at Bol are:

• Architecture: assist the project arhictecture team in defining the overall architecture of the ATG site and setting the standards for the developers
• Analysis: analysing the business requirements for parts of the existing system and delivering SRS (Software Requirements Specification) documentation and Use case models
• Design / Implementation: designing and building the Java/ATG based solution

Solagile assists Philips in the definition and extension of the Device Portal architecture. Philips provides internet enabled devices (Streamium) that allow playing video, audio and image content from the internet or local PC. The power of these devices is that they don't require a huge amount of PC and internet knowledge to use them. They are meant to be consumer-friendly devices with a simple remote control to use them. When further extending these devices, new demands on the portal technology and scalability are emerging. Solagile participates in the definition of this architecture.
